New Features
- Introduced squads and group equipment preferences. Define what equipment settlers should wear and prefer. Settlers in a squad train in Training Areas, and their group can be directly controlled when danger arises.
- Settlers now visibly carry items while hauling resources.
- The Architect menu now shows the theoretically maximum number of structures you can build with available resources. Missing resources are highlighted in the architect overview list.
- New games now start with an established settlement, one group of settlers and one squad. Settlers now wear clothes when the game starts.
Improved game interface
- Mouse controls are now more consistent:
- Right-click on world view cancels selections and closes context menus.
- In actions that use both mouse buttons, pressing left and right mouse buttons simultaneously cancels the current action.
- Floating windows can now be closed with right-click.
- Game speed can now be controlled with keyboard shortcuts:
Space(pause),<(slower),>(faster).
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the “Merge Into” order not working, which combines two groups.
- Fixed a save-game issue where group orders were not saved correctly.
- Fixed a issue where corpses were not saved correctly.
- Game now reports which save files are compatible with current version.
